The location of Highway Inn in Mocksville is convenient. I appreciated the cleanliness of the sheets and towels. they felt fresh. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment during downtime. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms worked well for my needs. However, several issues stood out. The deadbolt on my door wouldn’t close properly, which made me feel uneasy. I had to move the little refrigerator in front of the door for added security. The headboard looked like it was picked up from a yard sale, mismatched with the decor. The paint on the walls didn’t match throughout, showing signs of neglect. I felt like I overpaid. it was definitely a $60 room but felt like a $40 one. Despite these problems, the gentleman at the front desk was friendly and welcoming.

Better than expected for the price!
I appreciated the friendly front desk staff during check-in. The clean linens made for a cozy night, and the little refrigerator was a handy touch. Don’t miss the nearby diner for a delicious breakfast. A few upgrades could make this place shine even more!

I recently stayed at Highway Inn during my road trip across the U.S. The cozy vibe of this Mom and Pop motel brought back fond memories. The sheets were clean and the staff treated me kindly While the decor could use a refresh, I appreciated the charm that comes with unique accommodations.

So, I stayed at the Highway Inn in Mocksville, and honestly, it felt more like a $40 room, not the $60 I paid. The sheets and towels were clean, but the room needed a ton of work. The deadbolt on the door wouldn’t lock right, so I had to block the door with the fridge. The headboard was like something from a yard sale, too tall for the wall art. The walls had mismatched paint, and the lamp base was rusty. Overall, just kind of run down.

The room cost $60, and while it felt more like a $40 space, the clean sheets and towels were a plus. The door lock had issues, so I had to move the fridge in front of it. The mismatched headboard and paint were noticeable, but the front desk staff was friendly.

I spent a night here, and while I found the fridge and microwave setup convenient, the mismatched paint on the walls was a bit off-putting. I noticed how the headboard was much taller than the previous one, which surprised me. The overall stay was decent, but I wouldn’t choose this place again.

A decent spot for one night
The sheets and towels were clean, which is always a plus. I liked the little fridge with the microwave on top, it was practical for heating up the leftovers from that local taco joint I hit up.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but I guess it was passable.

Free wi-fi was great, but the bed was old and uncomfortable.
